Well, a lot has been going on these past few days with all the YTChorus stuff that's happening (handling complaints, changing rules & regulations, organizing forums, trying to be an active poster, etc.), so I decided to take a break today and just lay back. This is probably the busiest summer I've ever had in my entire life. This is probably my last one as well because I'll have to sacrifice the next few summers for tutorial classes for my HKAL exams. Then I'll be going to University in about two years. *sigh*

I'm trying to make my last summer the most productive one.

It seems like a lot of people have been taking this Youtube singing/dubbing thing more seriously now. It kinda scares me that criticism has been going around lately (makes me wonder what people are saying behind my back xDD;;). I hope I don't have any enemies out there. I try my best to be as nice as I can (People who probably don't like me are probably thinking "Yeah, right!" LOL).

I don't like to think that I'm better than everyone else just because I have more subscribers. I think a lot of people think that way but, really, I only think that your skill can be only judged by people who actually comment rather than chat in your videos' comment section. Seriously. Comment sections are not supposed to be chat boxes. Not that I'm one to say what you're supposed to do with your own videos, but I'm just saying. Personally, I like reserving the comments section for comments only and if you have anything else to say to me, say it to me on Skype, MSN or through PM. xD

Another reason why subscriber count doesn't prove your skill is because people have preferences and I've noticed a trend that high-pitched, "cute" voices tend to get more subscribers at a faster pace. I'm not saying they don't deserve it. I'm saying they get subs faster because a lot of people prefer the "cute" voice types over some other ones. Male vocalists also tend to get subscribers quite quickly as well, most probably due to the lack of them on Youtube. I also have to mention people who write decent English lyrics and can sing decently get subscribers faster too.

Just wanted to get that out there. :3

There are many other reasons but I don't think I shall discuss them today. I'm quite tired and I have a headache. Maybe next time. owo
